InfraTec receives major order from SIEMENS to deliver high-end infrared cameras
The energy sector of the SIEMENS AG assigns InfraTec GmbH in Dresden to deliver ten cooled high-end infrared cameras for a reliable testing of gas-turbine blades with ceramics coating.
The models of the ImageIR® series are manufactured in Dresden and offer extremely high frame rates with a geometrical resolution of (640 x 512) IR-pixels.
They also provide an excellent thermal resolution of less than 20 mK. Together with the precise trigger possibility these cameras can be used very flexibly for non-destructive testing with methods of the active thermography. The order amounting to several hundred thousand Euros attests once again the technical efficiency of the products and the outstanding customer orientation of the personnel of InfraTec.
